Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 22, 2026
Anonyma Network ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how our products — including the Anonyma Wallet browser extension, Palavia messaging application, and the Anonyma blockchain — handle your data.
1. Data We Collect
We are designed to collect as little data as possible:
- Anonyma Wallet extension: All wallet data (encrypted private keys, wallet addresses, connected-site approvals, and network configuration) is stored locally on your device using the browser's
chrome.storage.localAPI. We do not have access to this data. - Palavia messaging: Messages are end-to-end encrypted. Message content is never visible to us or stored on our servers in readable form.
- Blockchain transactions: Transactions submitted to the Anonyma blockchain are public by design, as with all blockchains. We do not link transaction data to personal identities.
- Website analytics: Our landing page (anonyma.network) uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and referral sources. No personal information is collected.
2. Anonyma Wallet Extension
The Anonyma Wallet browser extension:
- Stores your encrypted wallet vault, active wallet index, approved dApp origins, and RPC endpoint configuration locally on your device only.
- Private keys are encrypted using scrypt key derivation and NaCl SecretBox before storage. We never have access to your keys or password.
- Communicates only with the Anonyma blockchain RPC endpoint (default:
rpc.anonyma.network) to query balances, fetch nonces, and submit transactions you explicitly initiate. - Does not track your browsing activity. The content script injects the
window.anonymaprovider API for dApp connectivity but does not read, log, or transmit any page content or browsing history. - Does not load or execute any remote code. All extension code is bundled locally.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identity information (names, emails, phone numbers)
- Browsing history or web activity
- Location data
- Health information
- Keystrokes, mouse movements, or interaction tracking
- Contents of web pages you visit
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. The only external communication made by the Anonyma Wallet extension is standard JSON-RPC API calls to the Anonyma blockchain node, initiated solely by your actions (checking balance, sending a transaction).
5. Data Security
Private keys are never stored in plain text. They are encrypted with a user-chosen password using industry-standard cryptography (scrypt + NaCl SecretBox). The wallet auto-locks after 5 minutes of inactivity. We do not operate any server that stores your keys or personal data.
6. Your Control
- You can remove the Anonyma Wallet extension at any time, which deletes all locally stored data.
- You can disconnect any dApp from your wallet at any time via the extension popup.
- You can switch or remove wallets from the vault within the extension.
7. Third-Party Services
Our landing page uses Google Analytics for anonymous traffic statistics. Google Analytics may use cookies — see Google's Privacy Policy for details. The Anonyma Wallet extension and Palavia do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services.
8. Children's Privacy
Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
